To further strengthen interconnection among the two partners, and offer international experience to students, the College of Energy Engineering (CEE) in Zhejiang University (ZJU) launched the second ZJU-KU online course program in 2021, together with it’s international partners, the Graduate School of Energy Science (GSES) in Kyoto University (KU). The program opened two courses “Energy Systems and Sustainable Development” and “Applied Chemistry for Biomass Conversion” in KU for graduate students at ZJU, which has been successfully completed from April to August 2021.
The ZJU students participated have been studying with KU students during the course, so their performance will be evaluated based on KU standards. All ZJU students will obtain the course performance certificate awarded by GSES, and experience is recognized as international exchange for them.

After the course, we received positive feedbacks from students: “This is my first time to participate in an exchange course offered by a foreign university. The final course presentation was my first formal English report. The course provided many unforgetable experiences. I think the teacher is patient and lovely, and hope to participate in similar courses in the future.”
