In the afternoon of November 18, 2020, the inauguration ceremony of Zhejiang University-Hangzhou Boiler Group Advanced Energy Joint Research Center was held in Qingshan Lake Energy Research Center of Zhejiang University. Prof. Yan Jianhua, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Zhejiang University, Wang Shuifu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hangzhou Boiler Group, Prof. Cen Kefa, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and other relevant leaders attended to witness the awarding of the joint Research center and the signing of the first four projects.

Vice President Yan Jianhua said in his speech that energy discipline is the traditional excellent discipline of Zhejiang University. There is a broad prospect for national energy development, which will usher in new development in the future.

Chairman Wang Shuifu said that the cooperation between Zhejiang University and Hangzhou Boiler Group has a deep historical origin, and the long-term cooperation has created many fruitful results.
