On December 1, 2020, the Zhejiang-Kyoto-Ajou Joint Symposium on Energy Science, organized by Zhejiang University, Kyoto University in Japan and Ajou University in Korea, co-organized by Ningbo University of Technology and the University of Nottingham Ningbo, was successfully held online. A total of 40 oral and 30 poster presentations were arranged for this meeting and 150 teachers and students were attracted to take an active part.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Professor Wu Xuecheng, and Professor Gao Xiang, Dean of the School of Energy Engineering of Zhejiang University, delivered a welcome speech. He briefly reviewed the recent Zhejiang-Kyoto-Ajou Joint Symposiums, expressed gratitude to the universities for their full support, and sincerely invited foreign universities to visit China, holding offline seminars after the epidemic is over. And he wished the event a complete success at last. Professor Keiichi N. Ishihara, Dean of the School of Energy Science, Kyoto University, Japan, and Professor Hye-Young Jang, Dean of the Energy System Research Institute of Asia University, Korea, then introduced the basic situation of their schools and expressed their expectations for this online event.
