To introduce and cultivate a batch of outstanding young scholars satisfying the academic development of Energy Engineering and possessing the international competitiveness, and to brand a high-level teaching faculties supporting the prosperity of the college, professor Luo Zhongyang, the dean of College of Energy Engineering, preached the talent introduction policy of 100-Talent and 1000-Talent Programme in worldwide famous universities, such as Columbia University, Princeton University, Harvard and MIT during 10th and 14th October when he attended a international conference. 
    On the morning of 10th October 2014, professor Luo communicated with more than twenty scholars in majors of Earth and Environment Enigineering, Machinery, Architecture and Environment and Mechanics on campus of Columbia University. Professor Luo gave a general introduction of 100-talent programme of College of Energy Enigeering and Zhejiang University, and then further discussed on the questons of introduction standard, research focus, assessement, promotion and financial support.
    In the following days, professor Luo also visited other universitied in Eastern US, such as Prinston University, Harvard and MIT, and the productive communication was held with local scholars, young teachers, postdoctors and senior doctors from the fields of Combustion, Chemical Industry, Material, Environment and Mechnics.
