During 15th and 17th October 2014, the 8th International Conference on Combustion, Incineration-Pyrolysis, Emission and Climate Change was held in Zhejiang Hotel.
         Professor Cen Kefa, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering from Zhejiang University, was designated as Chairman with professor Nickolas J. Themelis, academician of National Academy of Engineering from Columbia University, and professor Jong-In Dong from Seoul National University as co-chairs. Two hundreds and eight academic research papers from 14 countries, i.e., US, France, Korea and Japan, were submitted, and over 206 worldwide experts attended the conference.
       One main session and four parallel sessions were set with topics of General and Special Contaminant Control, Combustion of Fossil Fuel, Heat Treatment of various Rejected Material, Clean Energy Transformation and Climate Change.
        This coference supplied a new technical communication platform for the aera of clean energy utilization and waste recycling, inspired the creative passion of researchers, strengthened the international coorperation realization of young scholars and researchers. The committee anounced that the following i-CIPEC conference would be held by Kyoto University, Japan.
