The 6th International Conference on Combustion, Incineration/Pyrolysis and Emission Control (I-CIPEC) was held from July 26 to 29, 2010 in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. About 200 experts and scholars from 27 countries attended the conference. Professor Cen Kefa received the Outstanding Performance Award of the conference committee for his outstanding academic achievements and contribution to pushing the international co-operation and communication.
International Conference on Combustion, Incineration /Pyrolysis and Emission Control (I-CIPEC) is an international academic conference of great importance. It was first held in South Korea. Professor Cen Kefa is one of its initiators and now acts as the Standing Committee Member of its international consultant Council. The conference took place in South Korea, China, Japan and Thailand respectively, and Zhejiang University held the third conference in Hangzhou in October 2004 with Professor Cen Kefa being the chainman.
It is the first time for the conference to award this prize since it was held ten years ago.
