With the invitation of Energy Engineering Department of Zhejiang University, Professor Ibrahim Dincer from University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Canada and Professor Sümer ŞAHİN from ATILIM University in Turkey came to visit our department on August 28.

Professor Dincer is the chief editor of three important international journals International Journal of Energy Research, International Journal of Energy, International Journal of Global Warming. And Professor ŞAHİN has acted as the member of Editorial Board of Energy conversion and Management Magazine for years. Both the professors have gained fruitful results in their research and have a worldwide influence in fields of energy, especially in the field of sustainable energy. During their visit, two professors had a in-depth discussion with Professor Qiu Limin, Deputy Dean of Energy Technology Department of Zhejiang University, over such issues as globally cooperative school-running, scientific research and the holding of international conferences. Several agreements of intention have been achieved.
